Traditional Master Bathroom – Saratoga

This light and airy Traditional Master Bathroom was a substantial upgrade from small bathroom with alcove bath and adjoining walk-through closet. Two doors leading through the space impeded circulation and closet space access. 

Spatial Alterations and Finishes: Space was open up, one closet was moved to the master bedroom and another was incorporated in the new bathroom. Free standing tub made an elegant statement in this country inspired bathroom with wainscot paneling, separate dressing/grooming area, new 2 sinks vanity, Carrara marble on wall and floor with basket weave mosaic areas on the floor and shower floor. Big window brought a lot of light into the space and allowed good air circulations. Toilet was moved in a separate water-closet with window.

Lighting and Electrical Alterations: Several lighting layers create soft ambiance with enough task light for grooming and dressing. New ventilation with motion and humidity sensors along with warm floors provide comfort and relaxation.

Colors: Soft muted grays were utilized along with contrasting white color on trim and wainscoting.
