This contemporary kitchen creates a center for the family, calls for cooking and conversations.
The complete remodel features new, white and wooden frameless cabinetry, dark leathered granite for the countertops and neutral grey quartzite for the island and walls finishes. Two sinks are playing to the kitchen design – one big is working great for the cooking and prepping area, and smaller one with the filter is perfect for the coffee maker and other small cooking needs. All new plumbing and electrical fixtures were installed.
Living room features new electrical fireplace, and wall Picture Hanging System with STAS LED.
Spatial Alterations: Wall separating kitchen from dining area was removed, opening space to dining/living area, which were enlarged by 10’ walls and raised cathedral ceiling.
Space in the kitchen is opened up with two 4’x4’ skylights assembled in one opening. Surface mounted white vertical LED cylinders instead of pendants create easy flowing into dining/living area. A lot of new storage was created with new Island, new Cabinetry and the Pantry room nearby.
Lighting and Electrical: In the Kitchen several lighting layers create an inviting ambiance with enough task light above the countertops and island. Electrical outlets are placed in the top of the upper cabinets, as well as additional LED light built-in lower part of the top cabinets.
Living room features on both 10’ walls Picture Hanging System with STAS LED Spot lights for the wall pictures. New electrical fireplace with TV above gather family in the evening together. Dimmable Chandelier and Linear Light pendant nicely accommodate task lighting for the Dining table and TV watching.
Colors: White, neutral gray walls/stainless steel, black and natural wooden colors
Bright white cabinetry with contrasting dark leathered granite countertop, white windows’ automated shades treatments compliment the color theme. Wooden colored cabinets in the island covered in neutral grey quartzite. Black window frames, table legs and cabinets hardware, along with stainless faucets, dishwasher and refrigerators contributed to the dark theme.
