Story of colors & forms, Spain.
This compilation shows how spectacle of colors was introduced in grand interior of a Sagrada Familia Cathedral with ever changing colors depending on season and time of the day. Textures and forms are accentuated by colored light rays shooting through the interiors.
Another example of introduction of colors/light play is Gaudi’s Casa Batlló, as a residential project it carries much more subtle color variations and gentle organic curves and forms with nautical theme.
Mosaic work in the lift shaft masterfully transfers light by carrying lightest mosaic colors on the lower levels and deepest blues on the top floor.
Beautiful mosaic and iron work on the third floor outdoor patio.
Whimsical shapes and references to sea creatures, amazing stucco finish on ceiling imitating mosaic and water ripples.
